I am a Flora Jane Baker postdoctoral fellow and an adjunct assistant professor at the Queen’s School of Religion, Kingston. I am also an instructor in the Humanities Department at Dawson College in Montréal.
I first became fascinated with religion in college and since then have completed two degrees in Religious Studies and a PhD in Cultural Studies. I am particularly interested in exploring phenomena at the edges of what usually counts as ‘religion’ as well as contemporary discourse surrounding secularization, disenchantment, and religious change.
I am also passionate about teaching and I strive especially to develop teaching strategies for large first-year introductory classes.
